Update from The Outer Limits

Hey Whaz Happenin!!!
I am back online and have got some new music I’ve been working on. I’ll be releasing a new cover video in the next day or so! I’ve been upgrading my sound and feel like the album, which is long overdue, is finally reaching its final form. I’m really loving where I’m at creatively and looking forward to shifting the shapes of things to come. I’ve been experimenting with lots of new sounds and ideas. I’ll be bringing more featured performers up during my live shows. March featured Burlesque performer, Nickole Muse dancing to “Why Don’t You Do Right?” at Double Down Saloon. Coming up on April 14th, I’ll have Dark Mark, The Goth Comedian, host and have a featured set on what we’re calling “A Darkly Absurd Evening of Music and Comedy,” LIVE at Artisan Boutique Hotel. I’ll be back in Downtown Vegas on April 16th  for Vegas Live Sessions at Artifice. Looks like a great weekend of shows coming up. If you’re in Vegas, I hope to see you there and I’ll be posting the link to my new video very soon.

Good vibes, babiez.

New York City 2016

I just got back from my first Mizz Absurd Tour in New York City. 9 gigs in 14 days. It was pretty intense, I was travelling every single day and even though all the gigs were in one city, the commute averaged 2-3 hours per day. I was also able to spend some time in Philadelphia, PA, Cherry Hill, NJ and Saddle River, NJ. Such a different life than Las Vegas desert or Hollywood living. I’m grateful to have performed at some beautiful venues in NYC.

Shrine World Music Venue, Harlem
Pete’s Candy Store, Brooklyn-Williamsburg
Otto’s Shrunken Head, East Village x2
The Bowery Electric, Map Room, East Village
The Black Rose, East Village x2
Silvana, Harlem
Club Groove, Greenwich Village

This was my first legitimate tour in my career and a huge leap for Mizz Absurd. All DIY and I’m grateful for the help of my music associate in NYC. From local feedback, I feel like I’ve made a positive impact in the music scene of the East Village. Most of my gigs happened to end up being there and I’m honored to meet and see some of the talented local musicians perform. I was welcomed back by several of the clubs I performed at, so another trip to NYC will definitely be in the plans.

I’m back in Las Vegas and have plans to complete my album ‘Where’s & Why’s.’ A few change in plans prevented the September release but has also given me the chance to grow and begin working on the material for my second album. I’m looking forward to sharing it all with you. You can follow me on Instagram and Twitter for more updates @mizzabsurd

Balcony TV and NYC

Huge thanks to HAS Productions, Courtney Davis and The Asia Jade for having me a part of BalconyTV Las Vegas filmed LIVE at The Hard Rock Cafe on the Las Vegas Strip! Download “Meaningless Obsession” here from my SoundCloud.  https://soundcloud.com/mizzabsurd/meaninglessobsession

The Where’s & Why’s album will be out in September. I’m looking forward to my first time touring the East Coast this Fall! The Where’s & Why’s Tour will be in New York City September 21-October 4! Can’t wait to meet new people, play on new stages and experience the city. Looking to collaborate with some creative individuals while I’m there.
